HD Video and 21.1 Megapixel Photography? YES PLEASE!

SILENCE PLEASE!
I am a photography professional with the ability to stun audiences in HD video. I inspire, I motivate, I encourage, and I turn passion and imagination into a reality. I take photography and film making to a whole new plane with a 21.1-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and a DIGIC 4 Image Processor. Who am I you ask? I am a Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

Introducing the most innovative camera from Canon to date. This pristine beauty will without a doubt turn your enthusiasm for photography and video into a love affair. The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is a camera which beginners and professionals will use with sheer joy. This camera can be as simple as a point and shoot for both HD Video and Digital Photography, or you can dial in your exact specifications to capture an absolutely breathtaking image for your professional video or photographic career. The EOS 5D Mark II has a 21.1-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with DIGIC 4 Image Processor, an ISO Range of 100-6400 (expandable to ISO L: 50, H1: 12800 and H2: 25600), plus EOS technologies like Auto Lighting Optimizer and Peripheral Illumination Correction. This camera supports Live View shooting, Live View HD videos, and much more. It has 9 AF points plus 6 AF assist points, a 3.0-inch Clear View LCD (920,000 dots/VGA), a new 98% coverage viewfinder, and it can shoot up to 3.9 fps. The EOS 5D Mark II also captures full HD Video at 1920 x 1080 resolution for up to 4GB per clip! Full-frame shooters and Video professionals, you may now stand and applaud.

I would highly recommend this camera to anyone that is interested in using both HD Video and Digital Photography. It is a jack of all trades and using the word "Professional" is an understatement. Don't let the $2,500 price tag scare you, it is well worth it. If this ruggedly beautiful, multi tasking prodigy is used in a professional manner, the camera will pay for itself within the first couple of months.

At last! The final images from 2007 and 2008 arrive.

Rolls #2 and #3 finally arrived today! I was quite pleased with what I found inside those envelopes. All of these photos were taken between 2007 and 2008 in various places. These locations range from Denver Colorado, Lake Powell Utah, and Madison Wisconsin. These were all taken with my most cherished possession, the Holga 120CFN. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the last two rolls. Enjoy!

Bringing in the New Year with 2007?

Okay so here's the scoop. I being the procrastinator that I am, had 3 rolls of film hanging around in my fridge for almost 2 years. Remember those "masterfully shot rolls" of 120 film that I talked about getting developed in my first blog from December? Well the rolls are finally processed and starting to arrive! Here's two of my favorites from roll #1

All of the photographs from roll #1 were taken in Madison Wisconsin in August of 2007 on my Holga 120 CFN. A group of my friends from college headed out on a 16 hour driving adventure to this destination. The occasion was a once in a life time experience...a Reggae Festival. Every year my friend Adam has an enormous farm party which hundreds of people attend. 2007's farm party was a reggae festival with live reggae bands, a pig roast, games, and countless hours of entertainment. It is something I look forward to doing every summer from here on out.
